Canon EOS R Review - Is it a Fail or is it Revolutionary ? I think it's a game changer for future development.

So I didn't get my hands on the camera just yet so this more of an initial thoughts video about the Canon EOS R. It's Canon's first full frame mirror-less camera , which is exciting since canon has finally entered the full mirror-less market but lackluster in terms of specs. Sure the 10bit c-log looks incredible but that only with external recorders which makes a great cinema camera. But I feel like this camera for people are making the jump from canon aps-c line up to the full market. So it's not caning the game just yet but soon I believe there going to be implementing better and crazier full mirrorless camera than just the Canon EOS-R. Also the new RF mounted lens look nice and I really like there new customize-able ring on the front of the lens. Well your going to have to watch the rest of video know my full thoughts.

Starter guide for buying your first camera

It's important to not blow all you money at once on brand new camera but instead to buy a cheaper camera to learn from and grow because most of the quality comes from lens, lights and the content in the video. The best two cameras to start off with would either be the Canon T7i or the canon  Sl2 which is a cheaper option than the T7i. The T7i basically has better autofocus and is little more durable. Though they both have the same sensor and would get the same result.

The SL2 by itself http://amzn.to/2i8He8A and with kit lens http://amzn.to/2gJSEQ8

Here's a pretty solid kit for the the SL2 http://amzn.to/2gIIjnu

If you have little more to spend I would go with the T7i which you can get here is a link http://amzn.to/2iHz62N and here is an amazing kit http://amzn.to/2ia16bs

Your going to need some SD cards and I recommend Sandisk because they have lifetime warranty and anything happens they will replace just do through away the box. I actually own a couple of these http://amzn.to/2zVyavR

Heres a great Mic for the price http://amzn.to/2i9DoMI

Though there is one one problem with it which is that any old after effects media compositions that are linked in adobe premiere have a hard time syncing, I had to call adobe and basically I had to redirect my older after files so premier won't get confused when it’s doing it’s syncing deal. I hope you guys enjoyed the video and let me know if you wish to see more like it, see you wednesday.

Try to always work with amazing people

I just came back from an amazing shoot that I had a lot of fun at , the people were great even though it was an 18 hour day I felt I was able to provide quality content throughout the whole day even through the toughest times of the day. I know everyone says I have an amazing energy on set and we always have a blast but it really depends on the amazing people which makes everything worth at the end of the day. I truly believe in working with clients, products and brands you believe in order to provide the best results as the work is made with pure love and that's my favorite part of the job. So always try to find people you want to work to not only improve your happiness to provide meaningful value to you're clients. Here is a production companyI work for that I love working with. The amazing fokes at Made with Love films , Erin and Dezi.

Got my Hands on the New Go Pro Hero 6

Hey guys I just got my hands on the new camera from GoPro, the  Hero 6, all I have to say is that it just blows my mind how powerful this little guy is. I had so much fun playing around with it and testing it. The Dynamic range and the FPS is a huge improvement from the Hero 5 which is one of the main selling points to upgrade to the Hero 6. I hope this GoPro Hero 6 Review answered all your questions and if not feel to ask me. I was on a shoot with it that the timelapse function froze and drove me crazy because I was so close to overheating myself. I had to call gopro in a middle of a shoot to get it to work. Though the client loved the image and the results but it becomes a hassle to use.

I just finished a video for the Florida Climate Institute!!!

So this one was a passion project for the Florida Climate Institute while representing Florida International University. This piece is to try to help show us that we need to come together and agree on a problem in order to start finding solutions. I had a lot of fun creating this project that all interviews were shoot in 4k and all the b-roll was at 120fps. I made a couple of mistakes and it’s a little shaky for my taste but I’ll work on it for next time. I really wanted to get some b-roll of the labs, but we were in a rush but next time I’ll try to grab some shots on the way out. It was a little stressful as I had 30 minutes to shoot. So I got there a little early to each location to pre-light and give myself 15 min, and 15 min to interview. I can’t wait to see everyone's reactions I hope I was able to fill all the information within the 2 minutes requirement.

Just Did 4 Music Videos in 1 Day

Wow I’m super tired I just completed 4 lyrical music videos in one day, we started at 6:30 am to get the sunrise shoots and ended at 2am to get some night shots. Here are some pictures I took of him throughout the day. So it’s not full music video for each song so I tried to do 2 performances in 2 different sublocations to be able to cut to it, I worked on a simple wide with a little bit of movement and then a couple of tights with more movement to give some interest. There is a lot of 120fps b-roll to cut in order to fill it in but most of the songs and it was very soft so it works with the slo-mo b-roll. I’ll give you guys an update when I edit the videos and thought process.

What I learned when Doing Tech and Un-Boxing

Hi everyone this one is the latest video I created for my personal youtube channel all about what I learned and on how to do Tech and Un-Boxing videos. I found out it’s all about super smooth movement with backgrounds that complement the product.I  know it’s tough to start getting your hands dirty in this industry and to spend the money so I recommend to just start doing tech reviews for the products you already have, just get started so when you do make the next step you have the knowledge to take the video and any problems that comes up.
